YOU ARE NOT ALONE

The YANA Community
The YANA Community is an organisation dedicated to raising mental health awareness among underprivileged children. Through various programs, workshops, and outreach efforts, we aim to provide education, resources, and support to help these children better understand and manage their mental well-being. Our goal is to break down stigmas, promote positive mental health practices, and create a safe space where children can openly discuss their feelings and concerns.
Founder
My name is Nysa Jain and I have recently founded a community called "The YANA Community" with a remarkable mission – to raise awareness about mental health among underprivileged children.
YANA stands for "You Are Not Alone," and it reflects the heartfelt commitment I have towards making a positive impact on young lives. Through The YANA Community, I aim to provide a safe space for these children, ensuring they know they're not alone in their struggles and that there is always help available.

The YANA Community has provided me with an amazing experience to do something for the younger generation of the world. I really enjoy working for this organization because it allows me to broaden my perspective of the people and issues around me while helping me learn through educating others.

Being part of the YANA community feels like joining a supportive family. It’s a safe space where everyone understands the ups and downs of mental health. Here, anyone can choose a topic to talk about, without feeling inferior or judged. Each person supports the other, making it easier to heal and grow. Every small success is celebrated, and setbacks are met with kindness. I’m grateful to be in this community, and I’m having a fun experience, knowing I truly belong and that my journey is valued.

I have been a part of the YANA Community for almost a year now, and I must say that I have had a fabulous time here. Writing and spreading awareness about numerous mental health issues has made me feel proud about this contribution to the community. Writing collaboration articles has allowed me to interact with other members of the organisation. I look forward to doing great things during my time here.

My experience with working in the YANA community has been nothing but phenomenal! Even when I was still a new writer, everyone was supportive by replying to all of my questions patiently and timely. The engaging atmosphere of our meetings and interactions also inspired me to further contribute to the community's great cause. Reading the different articles on the blog helped me write my own. Moreover, it helped me understand myself better and stay healthy. Overall, my experience working with the YANA community has not only given me the necessary work experience, but also a deeper appreciation of myself and others.

Working with The YANA Community has truly been a once in a life time experience. I have enjoyed connecting with others from all around the world for a great cause; spreading awareness about mental health is of the upmost importance and I am grateful that I have been given a platform to do so alongside amazing people.

Working in the YANA community was such a rewarding experience for me. I’ve considerably deepened my understanding of mental health challenges and strengthened my passion for advocacy. In addition reading my peers articles on the similar topics helped open my eyes to completely fresh perspectives that I wouldn’t have observed otherwise.
